First responders have inherently risky jobs. Let us help you reduce your department’s personal health risk.

For the men and women who serve as law enforcement officers, firefighters, and as paramedics, serious and high-risk occupational health risks are more prevalent and often left unidentified. Sadly, the consequences of not finding these risks early are also often deadly.

Why identify and improve metabolic and cardiovascular health risk within your department?

  • Healthy first responders perform better and are more resilient in the face of everyday dangers

  • Improved cardiovascular and metabolic health reduced absenteeism and work-comp injuries

  • Reduce the aggregate toll of acute stress, circadian rhythm disruption, and physical trauma

  • You can greatly improve the cost of your department’s spend on health insurance costs by reducing individuals’ risk

  • Because you care about each and every one of them.

Our comprehensive assessments integrates into your existing functional fitness program!

We will train-the-trainer with your program leaders supercharging the net value of a fitness program + a risk assessment program. The initial and ongoing measurements serves as a scorecard to measure each officer’s cardiometabolic health progress.

Professional first responders already have high-risk, high-stress jobs. When left unaddressed, personal cardiovascular and metabolic health risks lead to unnecessary early deaths, poorer job performance, & lower quality post-service health.

FAQs about a First-Responder Cardiometabolic Risk Program

1.What’s included in the Cardiometabolic Risk Assessment?
Our Cardiometabolic Risk Assessment is the whole package! The assessment process includes a pre-assessment survey for the relevant clinical background, a complete set of outcome-proven biomarkers that are not typically part of routine physicals (but should be!), and an easy-to-read complete assessment report for the officer about his/her health to answer “what is MY risk for metabolic syndrome, diabetes, heart attack, or stroke?”

2. How does this stack up against other products for law-enforcement officers?
There are other options like Sigma Tactical Wellness or companies offering “the Famous Police Panel”. These are good, but don’t your officers deserve the BEST assessment program? Those programs do not all assess the critical biomarkers that find common but hidden risks, do not have tracking to show the officer their improvement over time, or do not provide the necessary goals for the officer to reduce their risk.

3. What other services or partners can you help our department?
We are more than “just a screening company.” Through strategic partnerships with Axon Coaching, the Primal Health Coaching Institute, and others well-trusted services we can bring a multitude of valuable assets to bear that fit your department’s needs and budget.

4. I’m an interested first-responder. Can I order an assessment without going through my department?
Absolutely you can! You can order your own Cardiometabolic Risk Assessment here. Feel free to Contact Us and we would be glad to hook you up with a special First Responder discount code.

Bottom line, we’re here to help you and your department change the gloomy statistics facing our nation’s first-responders.

Chief Patrick Flannelly

Why Implement an Advanced Cardiometabolic Screening Program in your Department:

"Having had over 100 of our officers tested, we learned that 75% had at least one high risk factor for cardiovascular disease identified. A few had significant issues that were previously undiagnosed. With this information we are able to direct officers to the appropriate medical or professional resources for care, or assist them internally through our own training officer at the PD. But it all starts with the right testing and identifying the risk factors."
